Having been involved in travel since leaving school, which wasn't yesterday, my passion for travel has if anything grown more and more over the years. I have been lucky enough to hold various positions within the industry which has allowed me to appreciate people's travel needs from different angles. Like most others I am widely travelled and ever since that first educational, a day trip to Heathrow, to my most recent trip to New York, I still get a buzz out of it. Within my current role I like nothing better than being able to sit down with a blank canvas and then presenting clients with their own personal masterpiece of a holiday.Travel has been good to me over the years and I have got a lot out of it. Now it is my turn to give something back by encouraging and supporting the next generation of travel professionals, and being the Face of Travel 2009 would go some way to achieving this and it would also be the pinnacle of my career to date.
